Alla Pushnenkova
Alla Pushnenkova was born in Chelyabinsk (USSR).
In 1989 she graduated from Piano performance department of State Ufa Institute of Art (USSR). In 1994 she got a post-graduate course in Piano performance at Ekaterinburg State Conservatory named after Mussorgsky.
From 1989 to 2002 had worked as a Piano Teacher and Chair of the Piano Department at Chelyabinsk State Institute of Arts.

Since 2001, Alla Pushnenkova has lived in Portugal and worked in various educational institutions: from 2002 to 2019, she worked as a professor at the piano department of the Higher Conservatory of Gaia (Portugal), from 2004 to the present, she is a piano teacher at the Calouste Gulbenkian Conservatory of Music in Aveiro (Portugal).
Alla Pushnenkova conducts annual Piano Techniques seminars for teachers and students at University of Aveiro (Portugal), takes part in music conferences, organized by University of Aveiro (Portugal).
Annually holds seminars and trainings for professors and students of piano faculties.

Besides teaching Alla Pushnenkova took part in music competitions and concerts: in 1996 received an honorary Diploma of International Music Competition of Pier Lantue (Paris), in 1999 became a laureate the Third Prize at International Music Competition in Moncalieri (Italy).

From 2002 to the present she has taken part in several solo and chamber music concerts in Portugal: V International Piano Festival Celebrating Great Pianists, Festival-celebration of Lopes Graça, International Music Festival of Gaia, and Autumn Festival of Aveiro.
Her students have also won awards at national and international competitions.
For achievements in piano performance and music education in 1996 Alla Pushnenkova was included into Catalog of the Russian Culture Fund (Encyclopedia of Contemporary Art, Moscow, 1996), in 2000 got a Scientific Degree in Higher Education (Piano performance) of the Ministry of Education of Russian Federation.

Alla Pushnenkova has several publications: articles and books on piano art history and composer’s techniques (Chopin, Debussy, and Rachmaninoff).
In 2014 AVA Publishing (Portugal) released the "Album of a small pianist", a collection of piano pieces composed by Alla Pushnenkova.
In 2021 released the "Landscapes in Sounds", a collection of 7 pieces for piano composed by Alla Pushnenkova.
