Andrey Skorobogatko
Andrey Skorobogatko was born in Ternopil. He graduated from the Gnessin Russian Academy in Moscow. He graduated from the Gnessin Russian Academy in Moscow, the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz (Austria) and the Hanover University of Music (Germany) in oboe, and the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz in conducting.

He has extensive orchestral experience, having performed as a soloist with the Young Russia Orchestra in Moscow, the Graz Symphony Orchestra, the Vienna Bach Soloists and many others.

He is also a member of various chamber music ensembles: Ton-Art Trio, Phoenix Wind Quintet, R. Stolz Salon Orchestra and others.

Since 2016 Andrei Skorobogatko has been teaching at the Music School in Murek (Austria). His master classes took place in Croatia and Mexico. In 2021 he was a member of the jury of the 2nd International Music Competition "Dugoselski Nocturno" in Croatia.

For many years Andriy Skorobogatko has been leading the children's music and theatre group 'Skating Amadeus Chor', with which he participates in many projects of the children's and youth theatre 'Next Liberty' in Graz. He is also the author of several musicals performed at the theatre, including 'Tusnelda Nieselbrimm' for the 2023/2024 season.

Since 2011 Andrei Skorobogatko has been Chief Conductor of the Graz University Orchestra. In addition to numerous concerts in Graz and other Austrian cities, the orchestra has performed in Russia, Slovenia, Italy, Croatia, Mexico, Greece and China.

He was also musical and artistic director of the Verdi Gala Concert in the open-air arena of Schloss Finkenstein (Austria) in the summer of 2024.
